Kali Drake-Creme has been teaching dance since she was 18 years old. She was a director/ instructor/ choreographer/ mentor at the Power House of Dance in Dallas for 13 years. Kali is trained in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, cheerleading, acrobatics, musical theater and lyrical/contemporary. Growing up, she was a six-time All-American Dancer and Cheerleader from the NDA and NCA organizations. Kali has been a competitive dancer since age 5 and holds 18 winning titles from numerous competitions. She was a Jr. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader for 5 years and a member of the Dallas Model Group. Kali’s professional career started with the Dallas Mavericks, where she was a dancer for 4 years. She served as captain and choreographer for 3 of those years. Kali has appeared in several nationally televised commercials and local TV and radio programs. Because of her leadership skills and ability to inspire children, Kali was a finalist for D Magazines Top 10 most beautiful women in Dallas.
She has choreographed for dozens of award-winning dance and cheerleading teams starting at the elementary level up to professional. Kali has worked with dance teams such as the TCU Show Girls, the University of Texas at Dallas pom squad, the University of Texas at Arlington cheerleaders, NBA’s Dallas Mavericks Dancers, NHL’s Dallas Stars Ice Girls, Allen Ice Angels and the Former NBA Oklahoma City Thunder Girls. When she lived in Dallas, she spent 10 years working as a Pilates/Barre instructor at Beyond Pilates, where she was listed in D magazine as a TOP TRAINER in 2011. Before moving to Fort Worth, Kali was a director/dancer of a talented all mom hip-hop group called M.O.M. Crew. Kali and her M.O.M. Crew danced all the way to California and appeared on the TV hit show America’s Got Talent. Kali loves teaching dance to all ages but has a huge passion for children. As a child, her dance instructor/mentor always said, “if it’s in your heart it will show in your performance!” That saying has resonated with Kali throughout her career, and she continues to strive each day to inspire and motivate children to grow up and maximize their potential as both dancers and people.
