Heather started dancing at the age of four in Temecula, California, and grew up training in ballet, contemporary, modern, character, jazz, and neoclassical movement until the age of seventeen. She joined Colorado Ballet as a Trainee in 2020 before being invited to join Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company in 2022. During her four years dancing professionally with Colorado Ballet, Heather had the opportunity to perform in a selection of the company’s repertoire, including Swan Lake, Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Michael Pink’s Dracula, and Val Caniparoli’s Jekyll and Hyde to name a few. Some of her favorite roles she has performed include Swanhilde in Coppelia, Lucy in Michael Pink’s Dracula, Sugar Plum Fairy with the Temecula Conservatory of Music, and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
In 2025, Heather joined Twin Cities Ballet in Minnesota as a Company Apprentice, where she performed featured roles in Loyce Houlton’s Carmina Burana, and Twin Cities Ballet’s productions of Romeo and Juliet, and Narnia the Ballet. Most recently, Heather has joined Ballet Frontier as a Company Apprentice here in Fort Worth and is looking forward to the season ahead.
Heather has a great passion for working with dancers of all ages and skill levels, and has been teaching for the past four years in classical and commercial studios. She is a certified instructor in Progressing Ballet Technique, and also worked with the Colorado Ballet Education Department for two years. Heather is passionate about connecting with students of all ages and helping them reach their full potential as dancers and artists. She is so excited to be joining the Studio of MoveMINT this season!
