Rylie Gatlin is a Fort Worth native who graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May of 2026 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance Performance. During her time at OU, Rylie performed renowned works including Vespers by Ulysses Dove and New Second Line by Camille A. Brown. She also had the opportunity to train with members of the Paul Taylor Dance Company, perform alongside the company, study with the Artistic Director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, take classes with Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and travel to Mexico to perform in the Pigmentos Dance Festival. Prior to attending OU, Rylie trained extensively in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, and musical theatre. She began dancing at the age of three and started competitive dance training at eight years old. During high school, Rylie attended I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA on the dance pathway, where she continued to develop her technical training in Modern and Ballet. She spent three years as both a dancer and assistant teacher at Studio of MoveMINT, where she discovered her passion for mentoring young dancers and became part of the MoveMINT family. She is excited to return to Studio of MoveMINT as an instructor, bringing the knowledge and experiences she has gained throughout her training and professional career back to the studio that helped shape her as both a dancer and a person. Rylie is passionate about sharing the joy of dance and loves watching each dancer grow into a confident performer, both on and off the stage.
Rylie is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas A&M Texarkana alongside teaching!
