Madi Grace Thompson grew up in Abilene, Texas and began dancing at the age of two training in various disciplines with Abilene Ballet Theatre. During this time, she studied with Mauro Villanueva of Joffrey Ballet and spent her summers at Texas Ballet Theatre. She is now in her final year as a student at Texas Christian University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern and Ballet in the School for Classical and Contemporary Dance with a minor in Social Work. While at TCU, she has been in works by Francisco Aviña, José Limón, and Francesca Harper. Simultaneously, volunteering at Cook Children’s in Arts Resources and training with Susan Austin as a Costume Supervisor for Hip Pocket Theatre. Along with being a student, Madi Grace loves to pass on her passion for dance to the new generations!
