Lily began dancing at the age of 3 in Fort Worth, TX. She attended the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts where her love for dance continued to grow. She found Studio of MoveMINT during her sophomore year, and finished her high school dance training at the studio. She attended Texas Christian University where she graduated with her BFA in Modern Dance with a minor in Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship as well as her Pilates Teacher Training Certificate. While at TCU she has had the opportunity to perform works by Christian von Howard, Jamila Glass, Nycole Ray, Gina Patterson, Brad Garner, Domingo Estrada Jr. as he restaged Mark Morris’ Numerator, and Peter Chu with the help of Jenni Gordon. She has also had the ability to train with Bombshell Dance Project (Dallas, TX), OpenSpace Dance (Portland, OR), LA Contemporary Dance Company’s (Los Angeles, CA), and most recently Laguna Dance (Laguna Beach, CA) where she had the opportunity to participate in a three week choreographic residency with Artistic Director Jodie Gates and guest artist Peter Chu. Lily has been part of the MoveMINT family since 2019, and cannot wait to see what the future holds for the studio, as well as keep dancing and spreading her love of dancing with others.
